Are you looking for the best exercise to get rid of cellulite? It has been said that one of the best ways to get rid of cellulite is to exercise regularly. What you might not know is that there are very specific exercises that would effectively reduce the appearance of cellulite and keep them away for good measure.

Before Exercise

Just like any other type of exercise routine, you don’t just jump on things without preparing your body for the activity. Stretching is a very important pre-exercise routine because it allows your system to warm up and reduces the risk of injuries. Most people who do not stretch properly before exercise are more prone to injuries such as torn ligaments, sprained knees and ankles, and many others.

1. Brisk Walking- This simple exercise is quite underrated and underappreciated which is a shame because it is quite effective not only in getting rid of cellulite but in weight loss in general. It keeps your heart rate up while targeting very specific places such as your thighs as well as your buttocks.

2. Jogging- This exercise is recommended for those with stronger knees and those who are not obese. If you happen to be overweight by fifty pounds or so and have a prior knee injury, it is not something that you should try, at least not before you drop a few pounds because it can cause certain injuries or aggravate old ones. This is a great exercise for cellulite.

3. Spinning- If you are worried that your knees might not be ready for long distance walking, you can try spinning instead. It is a low impact exercise that can still get the job done. Most people who are trying to lose weight prefer this gym activity because it can be done indoors at any time of the day.

4. Air Cycling- If you do not have an actual bike that you can use, this exercise can achieve pretty much the same effect. What you need to do is lie down flat on your back with your hands on the back of your head. Bend your knees and then proceed to make a pedalling motion with your legs. This can burn off the extra fat that you are carrying on your thighs and buttocks. Start with 10 counts then rest. Repeat the procedure for duration of at least 15 minutes every day.

Additional Tips

• Do not forget to hydrate. This is a rule that you should not forget regardless of the type of exercise you are doing. Your body’s electrolytes that were lost when you sweat need to be replenished so always keep a bottle of water near when you work out.

• Breathe. In order to get the best possible results from the exercises you perform, make sure that you observe proper breathing techniques.

• Slow and Steady. You need to be consistent with your workout schedule without pushing your body too hard. No matter how much you want to get rid of the cellulite on your body, no good will come out of trying too hard.
